YORK, PA – Frank Dittenhafer, II, FAIA, LEED AP, President of Murphy & Dittenhafer Architects, today announced the hiring of Architectural Designers Ralph Muenstermann and Cody Cummings, who will both work out of the firm’s York, Pennsylvania, office.

Muenstermann holds a Master of Science in Architecture from the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany, and was previously employed by an architectural firm in Lancaster.

“I was intrigued by M&D’s creative approach to architecture and the large number of awards won by the firm over the course of the years,” Muenstermann says. “I was told, ‘If you have a creative idea, it will be heard,’ which has proven to be true.”

Cummings, a 2017 graduate from Marywood University with a Bachelor of Architecture, previously worked as a designer with an architectural firm in Montgomery County.

“I was attracted to Murphy & Dittenhafer Architects through their work in historic preservation because it was something I was interested in when going to school for architecture,” Cummings says. “I thought M&D would be a great opportunity to work with historic buildings.”
